Dementia is a broad category of brain disease that causes a long term and often gradual decrease in the ability to think and remember.

The decline is great enough to affect a persons general daily functioning, it can be confusing and frightening.

There are several different forms of dementia and it affects people in different ways. That is why it is so important that each Service User receives safe professional care with respect and kindness.

Far too many times, people with dementia find themselves pigeonholed, often losing their identity, when in fact, each is an individual and it is only dementia they have in common.

Many people with dementia are looked after on a day to day basis by a spouse or other family members. But caring relatives need a break from time to time and this is where our ‘sitting service’ can help.

Our Care Workers are fully trained to care for Service User’s who are affected by Dementia.
